| The only par 5 on the course, but it is
a long one. You face an elevated tee shot to a fairway that doglegs slightly
right to left. The fairway is a must from the tee if you are to score
well, anything to the left blocks your second out with trees, to
the right makes the hole play longer and with the wind usually in your
face, longer is the last thing you want. If you hit the fairway, your
second shot needs to favour the left to open up the green, anything too
far right brings trees into play for your approach. If you can find the
right
position, your
shot to the green is straightforward enough, there is only a ditch to
clear but it is well short of the green. |
