| You face
an elevated tee shot to a narrow fairway in a valley. On either side
of the fairway is steep banking covered in thick rough, with gorse bushes
and trees down the right and out of bounds down the left. An iron off
the tee is usually the best policy. If you miss the fairway, a chip back
on is usually the only option, assuming you even find your ball. The
green is well above you with a steep bank of thick rough in front
of it. Keep the
ball
in play and you have a good chance for par or better, go astray and you
could rack up a
big one. |
